Initiatives Consulting Team
Our Initiative Teams work with microfinance institutions across the Asia-Pacific on different consulting projects. In the past, these projects have included social impact surveying, credit risk assessment and market entry assessments. Our teams conduct secondary and primary research to complete their projects, and receive support from external mentors and academics at the university. MMI thus offers students the opportunity to solve real problems faced by microfinance institutions whilst making a global impact.
In the mid-year break, teams undertake a project trip to their microfinance institution for one to two weeks. During this trip, teams work closely with the microfinance institution to conduct primary research and gain consulting experience. It is a great opportunity to see the impact of your work firsthand, and to experience the diverse locations in which we work.
