With over 800 global participants, the competition was one of the largest ever held and provided a unique case competition platform for participants. Our case client this year was Ekphattana Microfinance Institution (EMI), the largest microfinance institution in Laos.

With over 1300 participants from 14 universities globally, we once again became one of the largest student-run case competitions. Ekphattana Microfinance Institution (EMI), the largest microfinance institution in Laos, returned for the second year running to provide students with another case study.

The 2023 GMCC was another roaring success with over 600 participants from 12 universities worldwide. Participants were tasked with solving a problem that centered around ‘Unit for Hope Microfinance’ (UFH), a microfinance institution based in Indonesia’s Havan Region.
