Senior Brand Manager – Commercial & Refreshment at Treasury Wine Estates

 

Mel is passionate about mentoring, volunteering and social impact. Mel was the President of MMI in its first full year of operation in 2011. She joined after attending a Microfinance 101 event in 2010, inspired by MMI’s founder Fernando and the power of microfinance in helping alleviate poverty. Thanks to 15 volunteers in 2011, MMI saw exponential growth which included 300 members, along with student run pro-bono consulting initiatives projects in Cambodia, Laos and Ghana. Mel has continued to stay connected with the Faculty of Business and Economics through mentoring and in her previous role as President of the Young Alumni Committee for four years. Mel is also passionate about marketing. She hopes to share the knowledge she has gained over her five years at Mondelez, Bega and Treasury Wine Estates with the MMI team to help ensure MMI continues to make an impact for years to come.
