Kartik graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) in 2015, during his studies he was involved with various student societies, especially with Melbourne Microfinance Initiative as their inaugural Global Microfinance Case Competition Director. Post graduating he went down a different path to many graduates and split his time in 2016 between working at Impact Investing Australia and volunteering at The Oaktree Foundation Australia.

Having started his professional career at ShineWing Australia, he recently moved into the role of Group Accountant at Small Giants (Australia) to pursue his passion for impact investing. Small Giants is an Australian single family office devoted to investing 100% of their capital in socially and environmentally focused businesses.

Outside of organising Young Alumni events, he spends most of his time advising various not-profits and social enterprises on financial and corporate governance matters.
