Emma Poole

Emma is a 2015-2017 Alumni of MMI who studied a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Management and Marketing, with a focus on Environmental Politics and Middle Eastern History. During her time at the club Emma was an Events Office before becoming a Director, Vice President of Operations in 2016, and then President of the Club for 2017. Other involvement whilst at University included consulting for social enterprise 40K Globe in Bangalore, India, professional experience with Dentsu Aegis Network, and after graduation, developing impact measurement frameworks with YGAP in 2018. Emma was awarded a Commerce Alumni Leadership Scholarship (2017) as well as the Management Consulting Team and Individual Prize (2017) during her time in the Faculty.

Emma has a strong interest social enterprise, sustainable finance, and the intersectionality of all things sustainability (gender x environment x society). She hopes to have a career contributing to solving business, social and environmental problems and is now a Consultant in EY's Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) team, focussing on sustainability advisory & assurance, and outcomes measurement and valuation.

Outside of the office, Emma is most likely found up a mountain or visiting family in NZ.
